Dodd fined $50 in Friday hearing, Senate hearing Tuesday

Mississippi State University's Student Association Judicial Council will host a closed hearing at 1:30 p.m. Friday for SA President JoJo Dodd, where there's a possibility he will receive a fine of $50 for his refusal to comply with requests from the Judicial Council. Requests required Dodd to recant his statement from social media, make a statement recognizing the unconstitutional nature of his actions, and apologize to the student body. If Dodd refuses to pay the fine, he will be removed from office. An open SA Senate hearing is set for Tuesday (Feb. 2) at 6 p.m. in the Colvard Student Union Folwkes Auditorium. This is the final hearing, and will determine Dodd's ultimate consequence.

Keith Sr. (No. 93), father of Marshean Arkeith Joseph Jr. plays football for MSU as a linebacker between the years of 1989-92. Keith Sr. and Jr. died in a tragic car accident Friday night while traveling to a Pascagoula High School game.
