Cast members of MSU’s Theatre rehearse ‘Trojan Women,’ an ancient Greek tragedy written by playwright Euripides that explores the lives of the women of Troy after the conclusion of a devastating war with Greece. The women saw their husbands and sons killed and their families captured as slaves as they struggle to adapt to a post-war life alongside the occupying Greek soldiers who cause most of their misfortune. The first performance of ‘Trojan Women’ is Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m. in McComas Hall.

Wink (pictured) is a beagle/jack russell mix who was severely abused a year ago by a previous owner, gaining injuries that ruptured his left eye and caved in his sinuses. The small dog visited Mississippi State University on Aug. 24 and took pictures with various MSU sports teams. Wink also has a fundraising campaign titled 'Wink's Wish' founded by Mississippi State University alumna, Kim Smith.
