Mississippi State University canceled classes for the Starkville campus at approximately 1 p.m. on Monday. Sid Salter, MSU chief communications officer, said the reasoning behind the decision to close was due to an abundance of caution over the predicted winter weather.

Perry Cafeteria: open from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. with continuous service
Subway: open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

POD Markets in Hathorn and Dogwood: open from 9 a.m. until midnight
Sanderson Center: Regular hours
The following locations will be CLOSED:
