Campus Crusade presents Lords of The Rings

Interested in how to build an everlasting relationship? Every Monday night in February, Campus Crusade For Christ will host a series of videos on love, sex and marriage. Each week the videos will provide helpful hints on how to make a relationship last a lifetime.
Pastor Tommy Nelson introduced his series of videos at his church in Denton, Texas, several years ago. Thousands of young adults seeking love, couples in triumph and just ordinary people who were eager to expand their knowledge of love and relationships attended his sessions at his church.
Nelson’s videos were a huge success. To this day people from coast to coast continue to watch and learn more from his relationship advice. s
“One can learn so much from Nelson because he offers incredible practical advice on how to chose a partner and then actually pursue a relationship,” Campus Crusade For Christ director Paul Mayer said.
Lords of the Rings is the catchy phrase Campus Crusade For Christ named the series “Lords” standing for God and “Rings” meaning engagement and marriage.
For the past couple of years students here at MSU have had the advantage of attending, watching, and actually learning all about the secrets of love.
“Anyone regardless of their religious belief can apply to this series. It helps to build relationships and make them last in the future,” Campus Crusade For Christ staff member Angela Barkley said.
Each week the video focuses on the Biblical perspectives of a relationship and God’s design for marriage.
“Do not hesitate to come even if you missed the first one because each week highlights a different part of a relationship. Bring your significant other or a friend. Nelson’s advice will touch anyone who watches,” said Barkley.
Campus Crusade for Christ was founded in 1951 as an interdenominational christian ministry by Dr. Bill Bright on the campus of UCLA. The organization has grown to incorporate over 20,000 staff members in 170 countries, 30 different ministries and over 100,000 college students involved worldwide.
Catch the series each Monday in February from 8:30 to 9 p.m. on the third floor of the Colvard Student Union in the small auditorium. For more information, contact Campus Crusade for Christ at 338-9079.
