Mississippi State University’s Student Association announced the 2011-12 Executive Council. The winners were Rhett Hobart, president;Halston Hales, vice president; Meredith Sledge, secretary; Mary Kimble Bridgers, treasurer and Justin Watts, attorney general.
Hobart said he was thrilled to have this chance.

“This is a great opportunity, and I can’t wait to get started. I look forward to pushing SA forward,” he said.
Hales said he was looking forward to next year.
“I don’t really know what words to say,” he said. “I’m just so thankful for the people supporting me.”
Sledge said she is excited about working with the other elected officials.
“I’m ready to start working on my platform and broadening the role of secretary,” she said.
