Look out love, you’ve been replaced by things that are far more important. I mean, who needs love, anyway? Who needs love when you have meaningless sex, drugs and alcohol?
Why would anyone want to waste their precious emotions on loving someone? It’s so absurd.
Love is only a priceless emotion. It brings comfort when nothing else can. It creates smiles when you’re feeling your worst. Love can make you feel that, no matter what is happening, everything will be OK. Love is only the most amazing human emotion that can fill someone’s heart.
Why bother with love when drugs can bring you instant ecstasy? Anytime you’re feeling down, just pop some pills, smoke some dope, have a drink and make everything better. That’s all it takes.
And who in their right mind needs love when sex is readily available? If your hormones start rushing, find someone who’s having the same problem and hop in the sack.
One night under the sheets with someone you barely know will surely solve all of your problems.
When you’re ready to jump back into reality, I’ve got something to say to you.
You can drink seven nights a week, take as many drugs as you can afford and get busy with everybody you see, but you haven’t experienced true ecstasy until you’ve been in love with someone. It’s a feeling that everyone should have in life, a feeling without which no existence is complete. Love won’t solve all of life’s problems, but it will help you through them.
Why then do so many people think that they can fill the emptiness in their lives with chemicals and random fulfillment of carnal desires? You may not see it now, but all of these things will be out of reach at some point.
You can’t spend the rest of your life with a bottle of pills in one hand and a gallon of alcohol in the other. And don’t even make me explain what happens to sex as you age.
Don’t throw away the chance of having someone to spend the rest of your life with by burying yourself in “instant happiness.” One day you’re going to realize that instant happiness isn’t happiness at all, and it may be too late to seek the happiness you truly need.
Do yourself a favor and keep away from artificial pleasure. Love doesn’t come in a bottle or a brief sexual encounter. Love comes from an amazing connection with another person.
Allow yourself the chance. You’ll be thankful.
