The Mississippi Institutions of Higher Learning Board of Trustees named USDA Undersecretary Mark Keenum as the preferred candidate for president of Mississippi State University.
Keenum will arrive at MSU on Nov. 12 for open interviews with various campus constituency groups.
The Board will then vote to either make Keenum the permanent MSU president or continue the search process.
