My name is Keegan Figueroa, and I have the honor of serving as your Mississippi State University Student Body President. Whether you are from Mississippi or joining us from across the country or world, I want to personally welcome you to a place that will quickly become home.

Mississippi State is more than a campus; it is a community built on connection, opportunity and growth. One of the best decisions you can make early is to get involved. Through Cowbell Connect, you will find hundreds of student organizations, leadership opportunities within the Student Association, service initiatives and campus traditions that can help you find your place. I also encourage you to apply for New Maroon Camp (applications close Monday, July 20th) and Freshman Reach (applications close Saturday, August 29th) to build friendships and leadership skills from day one.

Academically, Mississippi State offers countless opportunities to excel, including undergraduate research, honors programs, study abroad, and support from your academic college. Take advantage of these opportunities because they are here for you.
