At 12 p.m. in the YMCA Plaza, students gathered to witness the unveiling of the Bulldog Bash 2025 headlining artist, Natasha Beddingfield, the first female headliner the bash has had in 20 years.
Bedingfield, who will take the Bulldog Bash stage on Oct. 3, is a British singer known for hit songs like “Unwritten” and “Pocketful of Sunshine.” She has earned 22 million monthly listeners on Spotify and 435 thousand followers on Instagram. She has also sold over 20 million records in total, of which her album “Unwritten” is the most popular.

What used to be the biggest free outdoor concert in the state of Mississippi has now been moved to the Humphrey Coliseum due to the construction on Main Street in downtown Starkville.
In previous years, students were able to arrive at any time during the event and enjoy the festivities such as food trucks and the Maroon Market. This year, students will be required to claim a free digital ticket that is compatible with Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Students can only claim one ticket, while non-students are able to claim up to four tickets. To claim tickets, students will have to visit http://hailstate.evenue.net/.
The tickets will go live on Thursday, Aug. 28 at 10 a.m. They will be first-come, first-served, but they are transferable. The Bulldog Bash committee’s Instagram @msubulldogbash has a post displaying the seating map for the event, with options for general admission and floor access.
Even with the location change, the Bulldog Bash Committee assured students that they will still host the Maroon Market, and because of the location, concert attendees have access to seating and in-house restrooms. People will also not literally feel the rain on their skin, since the concert will be inside, even if the forecast predicts stormy weather.
With new changes coming to this year’s Bulldog Bash, get ready to release your inhibitions and listen to the exciting headlining artist’s performance.
