I believe that Wilson Boyd’s explanations of the accusations made at The Reflector were perfectly defended with facts and logical reasoning in his April 6 opinion article “Editor explains decisions.”
Each article that was given to The Reflector was published.
The Reflector presented the information within a few days of the election, which would allow for statements from McCullum.
The Reflector raised questions concerning the differences in campaign finance between McCullum and the rest of the candidates..
All of these answers, including the one regarding the personal racial accusation at Boyd, were well-answered and definitely defended the professional staff at The Reflector.
Thanks to the newspaper for its unbiased and full delivery of the facts. Whether we will even hear from McCullum himself on these issues … I don’t know.
I hope so, because I was considering voting for him until I saw in the Tuesday paper that he still had no answers to these questions.
