Thursday, November 13.
Rick’s Cafe – Charlie Robison, a country musician who has released 6 albums and was a judge for the first season of Nashville Star.
– Local blues band Aunt Carloine Dye will open for Robison.
Dave’s Dark Horse Tavern – Dovecoat
Friday, November 14
On campus – The Lab Rats Comedy group – improv comedy – McComas Hall main stage at 7:30 p.m.
Rick’s Cafe – Crossin Dixon – Concert and CD release party – “Guitar Slinger”
State THeatre – Good Paper – Funk, Rock, soul group from Greenville area
Dave’s Dark Horse Tavern – FreeWorld- Memphis based Jam-Band’s Concert and CD release – new album titled “From the Bluff.”
Saturday, Nobember 15
Rick’s Cafe – J.D. Spencer – Corinth native.
Dave’s Dark Horse Tavern – Zoogma – Oxford based experimental band – Featured earlier this semester in The Reflector.
In the Area – Howlin’ at the Moon Festival – Waverly Waters Resort in West Point.
– Features Dovecoate, Hill Country Revue, featuring members of the north Mississippi Allstars,
Aunt Caroline Dye, Mayhem String Band, Smooth, Stagolee, Blues Old Stand, featuring Blind Mississippi Morris,
Scott Holt, Buddy Guy’s lead guitarist, and wrapped up by Graball Freerun.
-First time event, and should showcase a lot of great mississippi talent.
Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 on the day of the show and proceeds will benifit the Howlin’ Wolf Blues Museum.
