It may seem like a month after the rest of the world saw the latest installment of the (Christian Bale) Batman series – The Dark Knight – but, for the Quad Cities, tomorrow is when it arrives at the IMAX theater. Jarrett and I have been looking forward to this, and I just purchased two tickets for the 3:20 showing online.
I am pumped up for this movie, and I also really want to see the new farce, “Hamlet 2″. It looks like a riot, and it is totally sacrilegious (Rock Me, Sexy Jesus!). I am not convinced I will see it at the theater, but there have been several movies I’ve missed this summer that I do eventually want to see. Since I am trying to not be a homebody, I might see them at the Nova 6, in Moline (the discount theater, where $5 buys you a movie, drink and popcorn!) or wait for them on DVD. (Did anyone else notice how quickly X-Files was in and out of the theaters?)
