Despite what officials are calling an “indefinite suspension,” Mississippi State
football’s backup quarterback Josh Riddell will continue to practice with his
fellow teammates, head coach Sylvester Croom said Tuesday.
“It’s not an easy thing to do,” Croom told the Clarion-Ledger. “I don’t know
how other coaches deal with it, but it’s hard for me.”
Riddell was arrested on Miss. Hwy. 182 Sunday morning for allegedly driving
under the influence. Riddell’s blood alcohol content registered at 0.14
according to the Clarion-Ledger. The legal B.A.C. limit in Mississippi is .08.
Riddell is the 11th MSU player arrested since April 2006.
