A Mississippi State University student was found dead Saturday morning off campus.
Oktibbeha County Coroner Michael Hunt identified the student as Teresa Veal.
Veal was found in Dawgs Landing Apartments by a friend, Hunt said.
The time of death is unknown, but the pronounced time was 1:34 a.m., he said.
Veal’s body has been sent to Jackson for an autopsy, he said.
The investigation continues and is lead by the Starkville Police Department, Hunt said.
