Ah. It’s Valentine’s Day and the smell of love lingers in the air. Ever noticed that in our excitement, we sometimes say the stupidest things?
This “day of love” can conjure up some humorous sayings. And since Valentine’s Day calls for a little extra attention, I thought I’d give you something different to try.
For your disposal, I’ve mustered up a collection of pick-up lines from students on campus. Some are jokes, some are original and other must have been spawned in Dark Ages they ‘re so old. Either way, I present them for you to use as you deem fit.
Go ahead and give some a try this Valentine’s
holiday. You many not end up with the date of your dreams. But that’s all right. You may just leave someone else with a smile. And that’s priceless.
Here they go …
“Baby, you look so good I want to spread you out on a plate and sop you up with a biscuit.”
–Daniel Jones, senior
He says: “Can I have a quarter?”
She asks: “Why?”
He says: “Because my mom told me to call her when I met an angel.”
–Jay Giannetto, senior
“Girl, your feet must be tired because you’ve been running through my mind all day.”
–Antonio Hargro, senior

“I’ve lost my number. Can I have yours?”
–Misti Fikes, senior
A female pick-up line: “I’m drunk.”

Pam’s Personal Faves:
“Well, here I am. What were your other two wishes?”
“Baby if you were words on page, you’d be considered fine print.”
“Let’s make like fabric softener and snuggle.”
