At 4:03 p.m. students were alerted to a situation requiring evacuation from six buildings on campus. Mississippi State University has since stated that the emergency was a bomb threat they are continuing to investigate.
Statement from MSU: “The University received a time-specific bomb threat, and that time has passed. Emergency personnel, including MSU bomb-sensing dogs, were immediately dispatched to the scene and are continuing to investigate.”
