Crossin’ Dixon, the band formerly known as Kyote Wylde, will be filming their music video for their debut single “Guitar Slinger” tomorrow night at Rick’s Cafe. Crossin’ Dixon has been recently signed with Broken Bow Records, which also includes country artists Jason Aldean and Craig Morgan. The band has been a fixture on the Starkville music scene for the past couple of years and is known for its riotous show and larger-than-life stage presence.
Crossin’ Dixon also calls Starkville and Ricks’ Cafe home.
“We are extremely excited about Crossin’ Dixon picking Rick’s Cafe to film their first video,” said Rick Welch, owner of Rick’s Cafe, “We hope everyone comes out to support the guys.”
In addition to packing out their own shows, Crossin’ Dixon has shared the stage with numerous high-profile and national touring artists.
A few of these acts include John Anderson, Jimmy Wayne, Andy Griggs, David Allen Coe, Cletus T. Judd, Steve Azar, Dierks Bently, Restless Heart, Sammy Kershaw, Aaron Tippin, Bad Company, Confederate Railroad and Jason Aldean. Crossin’ Dixon also headlined the Dixie National Rodeo concert series this past February.
Cover is free for the ladies Wednesday night and $5 for guys. The doors open around 9 p.m. with the video shoot starting around 10 p.m.
