On behalf of the College Democrats, I would like to take an opportunity to thank the student body, the Student Association-Governmental Affairs Committee, the Residence Hall Association and the Stennis-Montgomery Association for sponsoring the debate Wednesday night.
I believe it was a debate that stuck to a positive tone, and I thank the College Republicans for joining us for an evening of issue-driven discussions.
I hope all those who attended left with a better understanding of each candidate, and I encourage everyone to remember to vote on Nov. 2 for the candidate they think will best lead America into the future.
