    Idiosyncratic Love

When it comes to the dating battlefield, to get ahead you have to lay your inhibitions on the line. It’s the survival of the fittest.
Those triumphant on the battlefield are not the most attractive or flirtatious-they are the most confident (not cocky!). When looking to meet someone new, confidence is the most important quality you can possess. Building your confidence will improve your dating life tremendously.
It does not matter if you are thick, thin, tall, short, hot or not. Confidence just might make a person more attractive than someone else with mere physical looks.
If you insecurely walk into a crowded place others will recognize it-and instantly be turned off. People are drawn to confidence, not insecurity. The ones getting the dates are those that are not afraid to walk up to new people and start conversations.
Now, it’s important not to mistake cockiness for confidence. You want to attract people, not bore them to tears with how awesome you are. Next time you are out and adamant about going up to a guy or girl, think of this: “fake it ’till you make it.”
This quote does not mean you should act like a two-faced social butterfly. It means that if you want a change (for the better) you can be whomever you want. After constant practice you will eventually evolve and your confidence will come easily. Act as if you are the most confident person in the room. It is a natural high and improves your chances of meeting someone.
If you are struggling in the dating battle because of insecurities, do these things next time you are out:
    * Talk to at least three people you are interested in. If you have a fear of rejection, get over it. Everyone has been rejected at some time. You are not going to be the only person in the universe that it has ever happened to.
    * Do not stress about your looks. Many relationships have been formed by people falling in love with each other’s confident and attractive personalities. Focus on yourself inside and your natural beauty will glow.
    * Relax and have fun! If your favorite song is on, then tear it up on the dance floor. There may be someone watching who thinks you are the cutest thing ever.
Everyone is capable of doing these things and changing their dating life from a battle zone to bliss. Be in control of your dating world. If you want more action then go out and get it. It is the survival of the fittest, and if your confidence is where it needs to be, you will be the survivor every time.
