So far there is a predominance of boys in the new AMF Magic Triangle bowling alley of the Union.
The bowling alley opened Wednesday and offers an inexpensive game: 10¢ for shoes, 35¢ a game, 3 for $1.00. There are eight lanes in this coeducational facility–plenty of room for boys and girls, but so far there have been less girls than boys. Perhaps when the probability that girls will be able to wear sports outfits to the recreation area becomes a fact there will be more of a turnout among the girls. The AWS will soon reach a decision as to the proper clothing to be worn.
The bowling alley presents a fine addition to the sports recreation on campus. The Union also offers recreation, billiards, table tennis, a room for playing chess, checkers, tiddlywinks and Uncle Wiggly.
