The Union started work on eight bowling lanes, Tuesday, October 12, with an expected completion date in two weeks. The most modern equipment had been ordered including AMF pin setters, underground ball returns, and spare makers.
The Union bowling lanes will be fashioned after modern lanes today, with conveniences like spectator seats, lockers, equipment purchasing area, and ball cleaner.
Shoes will be rented for 10 cents per game and each game will cost 35 cents or 3 for one dollar.
The lanes will only be available for MSU students, staff, and faculty. It is expected that leagues will be formed by all organizations on campus.
