Brianna Wilson is a sophomore criminology major from Canton.
Wilson said she choose to attend Mississippi State University because it allowed her the opportunity to get a world-class education while staying close to her home.
As a dedicated student, Wilson spends most of her free time studying in the study rooms in McCool Hall. Even though the study rooms are usually packed, Wilson advises students to get there either very early or late at night in order to secure a room.
When she is not studying, Wilson takes every opportunity she can to enjoy a meal on campus, especially when the Perry is serving fried chicken and macaroni.
Wilson said even as a sophomore, she has learned a lot in her time at MSU, and hopes to continue to grow and encourages other students to do the same.
“Keep God in sight, stay motivated and studying,” Wilson said. “School is only four years of your life, and it will pass you by quickly.”
