According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatchthe St. Louis Rams are going to hire former Mississippi State head football coach Sylvester Croom for a position coaching running backs.
He will be coaching with newly hired head coach Steve Spagnuolo, the former defensive coordinator for the New York Giants.
Croom was hired as Mississippi State’s head football coach in 2003 and resigned after a lackluster season in 2008 and an embarrassing 45-0 Egg Bowl loss against Ole Miss.
Before coming to MSU he was the running backs coach for the Green Bay Packers.
The Reflector will post more information as it becomes available.
