A crowd of faithful friends and voters shivered in excitement in front of the Colvard Student Union as the 2009 Student Association election concluded.
Blake Jeter was victorious in becoming the next SA president, having run unopposed.
There will be a runoff for the vice presidental position Thursday as neither senior general business administration major Ashley Edwards nor senior political science major Drew Cleek could capture enough of the student vote to win.
Michelle Peach and Hunter Futch, both junior banking and finance majors, were successful in their campaigns winning their positions.
Peach was elected as SA secretary, while Futch was elected treasurer.
Junior chemical engineering major Halston Hales was elected as attorney general.
