Bulldogs aren’t only team clinging to slippery bubble

We all know about the plight of our Bulldogs: W-I-N or N-I-T! That simple. While we wait on our Bulldogs to “Turn the Tide” Sunday, let me draw your attention to the rest of the nation’s bubble teams.
In the ACC the bubble teams are Clemson, Florida State and Georgia Tech.
Don’t worry about which of these teams get in.
They probably won’t get anything but an NCAA 2007 Tournament banner because they are not going to win anything, maybe Tech, but they don’t deserve it.
The Big East has Nova, Syracuse, DePaul, West Virginia and Providence.
‘Cuse should and probably will get in after that victory against Georgetown; they may even make noise.
DePaul has the signature wins but do not have the record to show for it.
Providence is one of those teams I always pull for, but I highly doubt they will make it.
West Virginia has the record and the signature wins, but I never trust a team that lives and dies by the three.
It is about as low as their spread offense, and they will probably get in, but they won’t make it very far, then again, I said the same thing about the Colts…
Michigan State and Indiana are probably in for the Big 10.
Illinois, Purdue, Michigan and Iowa are bubble teams.
Selection committee, if you are reading this, DO NOT WASTE ANY PRECIOUS SPOTS ON THESE TEAMS!
And I am tired of watching this garbage every Saturday morning.
None of them are going to do squat in the tournament.
Give these slots to the Bradleys and Appalachian States of the world.
These teams play in big conferences, but they are not good!
The Big XII Bubble teams are Oklahoma State, Texas Tech and Kansas State.
No problem here; all these teams have proved their worth. Good job.
The Pac-10 still has Stanford as their sole bubble team.
Just give this spot to MVSU or something; Stanford doesn’t know what to do with it.
The Ohio Valley Conference has three bubble teams in Creighton, Bradley and Missouri State.
All those aforementioned choke-artist big conference teams give those slots to these guys.
They might be from small schools, but I am certain that the OVC will bust some brackets.
Now we are left with the SEC.
The closest Alabama will get to the tournament is on dynasty mode of March Madness ’07.
Ole Miss probably won’t be able to handle the complexities of beating Auburn at home, knowing them.
If Georgia gets in, they will just lose to an OVC team in the first round, so why bother?
We are left with a bunch of other small conference teams that are just looking for a spot.
They usually won’t get any at-large bids because of how small their conferences are, but I say just let ’em all in.
Don’t waste our time with teams like Arizona, Oklahoma and Oregon.
These teams have a track record of not doing crap when they get into the tournament.
    And you know what?
Sometimes when you give these small teams a shot, they get trounced in the first round.
But sometimes … sometimes … you end up with George Mason.
