On behalf of my fellow students and MSU alumni, I would like to personally thank Mr. Bobby Bozeman (“Mississippi State should be banned from the SEC,” The Crimson White, Sept. 29, 2006) for making our victory in Tuscaloosa on Nov. 4 just that much sweeter.
For those of you who have not read Mr. Bozeman’s piece in the official student newspaper of the University of Alabama, it begins with the line “I have a message for Mississippi State: You suck! Get out of my conference.” More lines of journalistic excellence ensue.

This is the most irresponsible and ill-informed opinion piece I have ever read, regardless of the current state of our football program. But thanks for the vindication, Bobby. You have made this meager season much easier to swallow.
