Owen Bale stood nearby with his homemade sign, "Live your OWN truth." When Smock read his sign, she responded "Jesus is the way, the truth and the life."
After pretending to contract an STD, Smock fell on the ground, acting like she was dead.
After the sermon, Smock led students in a prayer circle.
Smock called a student up to read from her Bible, or as she called, the "HoNoMo-ble."
The crowd heard several sexual abstinence stories, some of which were from Smock's personal experiences.
“I need everyone to know I’m a HoNoMo,” said Kaleb Mickle, after receiving an autographed pin from Smock.
"Look at the hoe chain - isn't it shiny?" Smock said.
Smock told several stories, most of them based on her own life as a self-described "hoe."
"I used to be a vampire hoe," Smock said, referring to level six of her "levels of hoe" lesson.
The majority of Smock's sermon was based on student interaction.
Hundreds of students gathered in the Allen Hall courtyard to hear Smock talk.
"You can lead a hoe to water," Smock said, "but you can't make them drink."
Smock took the opportunity to film and post many crowd videos to her Instagram.
Gina Jones, a Nashville-based musician traveling with Smock, lead the crowd in several songs that followed the theme of sexual abstinence.
Smock brought several props to her speech, including two signs she would motion to.
Before the sermon started at noon, Smock took pictures with the crowd, including, by request, flashing the Alpha Chi Omega sorority's sign.
