As we get into this week’s schedule of games, it has been noted that each week gets progressively harder, and this week is no exception. The first game this week is our Bulldogs at South Carolina. The Gamecocks escaped at Vanderbilt last week 20-14 and have struggled throughout the season so far. Is this the week the Dawgs get SEC win number one?
Game two features another big time Pac-10 Conference matchup. The Washington State Cougars play home to the USC Trojans who handily beat Oregon State last week in Los Angeles.
ESPN GameDay is in Tuscaloosa, Ala., this week to feature our third game this week between the Crimson Tide and the seventh-ranked Georgia Bulldogs. Bryant-Denny will be rockin’ as this classic SEC clash will tell us a lot about both teams.
After losing at home in overtime to Iowa last week, the Penn State Nitany Lions will look to rebound at Camp Randall against the Wisconsin Badgers.
The Florida Gators travel to Oxford this weekend to take on the Mississippi Rebels. It should be interesting to see Rex Grossman against the weak Mississippi defense in what could be a shootout.
Our final game pits Kansas State and Colorado. The Buffs are coming off a bye week and should be ready and rested for their 2002 Big 12 Conference opener in Boulder. It is also KSU’s first Big 12 clash.
