The identity of the preferred Mississippi State University presidential candidate will be announced Nov. 5 following a Mississippi Institutions of Higher Learning Board meeting.
According to an IHL statement released today, the Board Search Committee will meet at 1 p.m. and hold the second-round interviews of potential presidential candidates. The BSC will be joined by the Interview Search Advisory Committee, a subset of the MSU Search Advisory Committee.
Following the interviews, the IHL Board of Trustees will meet at 3 p.m. to determine the board’s preferred MSU presidential candidate
The board is expected to announce the identity of the preferred candidate in the 9th floor lobby of the IHL building after the meeting.
