A student was shot multiple times Saturday night in Evans Hall on the Mississippi State University Campus.

Kibler said the MSU police department is leading the investigation and is being assisted by the Starkville Police Department and the Oktibbeha County Sheriffs office. According to Kibler, the name of the student probably wont be released until later Sunday out of respect for the family.
