Former Bulldog track athletes Pierre Browne and Dion Crabbe ran for their countries in Athens.
Browne ran the 100-meter dash in 10.21 for Canada.
Besides running the 200-meter dash in 20.85 for the British Virgin Islands, Crabbe got face time on national television opening night when Bob Costas interviewed him.
“We were the only university mentioned during the opening ceremonies,” head coach Al Schmidt said. “It was unbelievable. I almost fell out of my chair.”
