The Mississippi State women’s golf team carded a 302 on Sunday in Athens, Ga., to finish tied for ninth at the Southeastern Conference Championships. The Lady Bulldogs posted rounds of 317, 310 and 302 at the par-72 University Golf Course. Junior Anna Knutsson shot a 226 and finished tied for 26th to lead the Lady Bulldogs. Freshman Natalie Booth came in second on the team, tying for 30th in the individual competition with a 229. Senior Anna Gertsson and freshman Beth Irwin tied for 45th with a score of 237. Freshman Janet Dyer rounded out the MSU lineup, carding a 250 and finished 60th.
South Carolina claimed the conference title with a score of 861, while South Carolina’s Kristy McPherson won the individual competition with a score of 209.
