The MSU student who reported being abducted from campus Wednesday has been arrested and charged with filing a false police report. Detective Brad Massey of the MSU PD said Madison Gillette, 19, resident of South Hall, was arrested earlier today. The filing of a false police report is a misdemeanor charge and has a maximum fine of up to $1,000, he said. He said that Gillette’s court date is unknown at this time. The MSU Police Department is still investigating the motive. No further details are available at this time.
