Communication instructor Lora J. DeFore, 49, died Monday at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson after battling cancer since 2005.

Hogan, an Aramark/MSU Dining employee, died at Oktibbeha County Hospital after a car accident Sunday morning around 2:30 a.m. at the intersection of Hwy 12 and Smith Road.
