Rhett Hobart, Student Association president, announced today SA take volunteers to Tuscaloosa Wednesday to work and deliver supplies.
As of now, a 15-passenger van will leave around 9 a.m. from the Union and arrive around lunch. If there is a need for more people, expansion will be looked into, Hobart said.
Volunteers are asked to wear work clothes and either tennis shoes or boots. They should also bring any food or water they need, Hobart said.
A trip to Smithville is being planned for later in the week. Hobart said he hopes to have details available within the next 24 hours.
