The MSU administration has tried to fix parking and traffic problems on campus, but things have seemingly become worse.
Students have expressed concerns about getting to classes late. Many feel the traffic officers at the four-way stops are insufficient. They not only keep traffic from moving, but they slow down pedestrians as well. If this campus is supposed to be more pedestrian-friendly, then why don’t we feel the improvement?
Even students are being discourteous to each other. People won’t move out the way in various parking lots, and sometimes they won’t stop for crosswalks, either. We encourage students to be courteous and not create a larger problem.
The administration should get serious about bike paths. And the groups within the administration should start coordinating with each other in a better way. If this campus is supposed to experience growth, these concerns should be addressed soon.
